Welcome to Luminous Roots, where nature and craftsmanship intertwine to create sculptural lighting that tells a story

My name is Caroline Hannon and I am the artist behind :Luminous Roots.

Growing up surrounded by the rugged beauty of Cumbria and then over the last 4 years Ireland, Ive always been inspired by the natural world and the curves of driftwood washed ashore. the ancient textures of bog oak and the raw elegance of foraged wood. Each piece I create is a celebration of natures beauty and a tribute to its resilience.

Every lamp, pendant or light sculpture begins with a journey, whether it's walking along the Wild Atlantic Way, exploring Irish woodlands, or or uncovering hidden treasures in the boglands. I handcraft each piece with care, transforming these organic materials into functional works of art, that bring warmth and character to your space.

At Luminous Roots, sustainability is at the heart of what I do. By working with reclaimed and natural materials, I aim to create designs that not only illuminate your home but honour the earth from which they're inspired.
